Our Story

iCaravan was founded by Talgat Ali, an entrepreneur and seasoned traveler with over a decade of experiences abroad, including significant time in America. Upon returning to his native Kazakhstan, he found himself drawn to the simplicity and warmth of village life in his childhood home. Despite the lack of traditional accommodations, staying with a high school friend and waking up to the sounds and sights of his village inspired him. It was here, on the living room floor, that the idea for iCaravan was born. Talgat Ali envisioned a platform that would offer travelers the authentic hospitality of Kazakhstan, vastly different from and more enriching than any hotel experience. iCaravan bridges travelers with local cultures, offering unique stays and experiences—whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat in the mountains or a vibrant cultural adventure.
